English for Speakers of Other Language

Teacher: Ms. Taylor

Students whose native language is not English and who do not have enough proficiency in English to take regular English and/or reading courses receive support in the ESOL program. ESOL students move through three levels of instruction, from Level 1 for students with least proficiency to Level 3 for the most advanced ESOL students. This program teaches students English as a second language and helps them adjust to learning in a new environment. All ESOL students learn communication skills and literacy so that they can become independent and productive learners.
