School Improvement Planning for Next Year

We know, we know...we're just endning this year. But we're already setting our sights on a successful school year next year. That starts with a school improvement meeting on June 30th from 8 to noon in the conference room. Students and parents are needed to attend. You can check out our plan, goal 1, goal 2, and goal 3. You can also preview the agenda for the morning.

Volunteers Needed for Field Day

As the year is coming to an end, the 7th grade team is planning a Field Day to celebrate an outstanding year! We plan to have food and games for the 7th graders, but we are in need of parent volunteers. Volunteers will be needed to man different areas of our field day activities. Any time you can give us will be greatly appreciated. Come and enjoy the young people, the fresh air, and sunshine. Thanks for any time you can spare. Now That's Old School

When John T. Baker taught at Damascus High School, things were a little different than they are now, as you can see in this photo (circa 1921). The photo shows all 7th through 10th graders that attended the school, on the steps of the old DHS.
