Are you coming to Cheetahfest on June 10?

Cheetahfest, our 100 Year Celebration and Family Reunion, is on June 10, 12:00 - 4:00 p.m.  Come enjoy the afternoon with family, friends, alumni and community members!  Please read the attached flyer about the exciting events planned for Cheetahfest and return the bottom of the flyer with your name and the number of people attending.

CCES Cheetahfest, Saturday, June 10 - Updates!

We need your support for our 100 Year Celebration and Family Reunion on Saturday, June 10!  Please read the attached flyer about donating to your favorite decade!  Enter the Chevy Chase ES 1st Annual Cornhole Tournament, which will be held during our 100 Year Celebration on Saturday, June 10.  Instructions for entering the tournament are attached.

Spirit Day coming in May

In celebration of our 100th birthday, CCES will hold a monthly Spirit Day that focuses on a different time period in history each month.  NEXT SPIRIT DAY: Coming in May.  Stay tuned for more information. And check out some photos from our first Spirit Day which celebrated life in 1917, the year CCES was established!  

CheetahFest T-Shirts on Sale!

Our winning t-shirt designs will be featured on t-shirts for Cheetah Fest this June!  Download the form and order your commemorative 100th year t-shirt by Friday, May 12th.   

PARCC Testing Schedule

Attached is the PARCC testing schedule.  If possible, please avoid scheduling student's appointments on these days.  

CCES playwrights take Center Stage - May 1st, 7pm

Congratulations to our awesome 6th graders (Jaya Connor, Dominick Anderson, Eva Hauf, Brian Jaegar, Seydou Tounkara, and Kate Jacob) who were selected from over 400 playwrights for their play When Pigs Fly. Their play will be 1 of 6 plays performed professionally at the 2017 Young Playwrights Festival at Baltimore Center Stage on May 1st, at 7PM.  Reserve a free ticket to watch the performance!

The EGATE award spotlights gifted and talented programs aligned with the Maryland Criteria for Excellence: Gifted and Talented Program Guidelines and state regulations for gifted and talented education.
