B-CC Cluster Middle Schools Boundary Study Public Information Meeting, May 12

The B-CC Cluster Middle Schools Boundary Study process is coming to an end in mid-May.  A public information meeting is scheduled for May 12 from 7:30 - 9:30 p.m. in the B-CC High School cafeteria.  For more information, please read the attached flyer.

Leaving Our BookMARK! 6th Grade Parting Class Gift

Leaving Our BookMARK! is a read-a-thon for the 6th graders who wish to "leave their mark" by gifting CCES a new school sign before they move on to 7th grade.  The read-a-thon is our only 6th grade fundraiser.  We need to raise $5,000!  Please read the attachments for details and guidelines.

MCPS Receives a One-Day Waiver, School Year Extended to June 20

Montgomery County Public Schools will extend the 2015-2016 school year by one day and end the year on Monday, June 20, 2016.  The MCPS request for a one-day waiver of the 180-day school year requirement was approved by the Maryland State Department of Education.  The school year was previously scheduled to end on Friday, June 17, and now will end with an early release day on June 20.  The professional day originally scheduled on June 20, is now scheduled for June 21.

PARCC Schedule 2016 for CCES - Updated 4/13/16

Attached is the updated PARCC testing schedule for 2016.  Changes have been made to the 6th grade schedule.

Regional Elementary Summer School

March of Dimes Reading for Champions - Updated 3/7/16

Congratulations to all of the students who participated in the March of Dimes Reading for Champions program. Not only did they put in some extra reading, but raised over $5,000.00 for a great cause.  All participants will be asked to join us for a group picture and will be awarded special medals. Way to go, Cheetahs!
