Middle Years Programme (MYP)

Middle Years Programmer (MYP)The Middle Years Programme is one of three programmes offered by the International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO).

MYP is a flexible instructional framework that encourages students to become critical thinkers, life-long learners, and responsible global citizens. We offer the IB Middle Years Programme to all students in Grades 6-8.

Attention Grade 8 Families

Attention Grade 8 families: In addition to the HS Choice process, if you child is interested in applying to the application only programs (i.e. Richard Montgomery, Blair HS, Poolesville), applications can be found on the following website. These programs are very competitive and do require an application as well as teacher recommendations.

Child Abuse and Neglect Policy

In June 2015, the Montgomery County Board of Education made significant revisions to Policy JHC, Child Abuse and Neglect and significant enhancements were implemented over the course of the 2015-2016 school year. Please take some time to review.
