The College & Career Center staff provides extensive college testing and financial aid information and assistance for researching careers and colleges. The center is a useful resource for students in all grade levels. Information is available in various forms; including books, DVDs, and online computer programs. Scholarship lists are available for students, as well as information on academic, apprenticeship, and internship programs.

Hispanic College Fair Informational Session for Parents and Students, Monday, November 9, 2009, 7:00-8:30 p.m. @ The Universities of Maryland at Shady Grove Campus, Building 2, Room 1022

Free Hispanic College Fair Field Trip on November 10: Students in grades 10-12 are invited to attend a field trip to the National Hispanic College Fair at the Universities at Shady Grove, Rockville, MD. Students will have the opportunity to check out many colleges and universities from all around the country. Permission Form
Financial Aid Night on December 10 @ 7pm (snow date December 14): This informational workshop is suggested for all parents/guardians of 12th grade students. Melissa Gregory, Director of Financial Aid at Montgomery College, will be presenting. There will also be a presentation offered in Spanish.
MCPS On-the-Spot Admissions Programs:
Each year, Montgomery County Public Schools hosts several On-the-Spot Admissions Programs. Colleges & universities provide students with an immediate admissions decision and usually waive the application fee for students who attend each event. Most of the participating colleges & universities have scholarship opportunities! Interested students must complete an application and bring along a transcript & college test scores. Note: Application procedures vary for each institution. See Ms. Strasnick for more information.
