Unit 4

Unit Overview

In this unit, students extend their knowledge of sequences and series from previous courses. Sequences are defined as functions whose domains are the set of natural numbers. Students apply explicit and recursive rules for arithmetic and geometric sequences, and determine the sum of finite arithmetic and geometric series.
