Check out MCPS Sports on ITV. Starting in September, Instructional TV will air one boy’s and one girl’s high school game per week. Athletic events will include boy’s football and basketball, girl’s   soccer,  field  hockey,

volleyball and lacrosse, as well as the cheerleading and pom pom competition this winter. A boy’s game, followed by a girl’s game, will be aired on Comcast Channel 33, Verizon Channel 35 and RCN Channel 88 at 7:30pm on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. Games will also be On Demand via the Verizon and Fios network.

ITV will package, air and webcast original student productions. The program called The Student Eye will include news about school events, clubs and sports, as well as feature student films and opinions. Check out a sample      segment     called

Making Media, which features two original works and interviews from the student creators.
