Elementary Schools Returning to Home Facilities (January 2015) 
Candlewood and Rock Creek Forest Elementary Schools will be returning to their home facilities in January 2015 following the completion of modernization projects. Bus schedules may change from current routes. Families should review updated bus schedules when they become available. Changes may include route numbers, stop locations and times. Questions or concerns should be directed toward the appropriate Transportation Cluster Manager (TCM) for your school.

MCPS TV Produces "Kid Cop" PSA - Watch Online 
MCPS and MCPS-TV in collaboration with Montgomery County Government and the Montgomery County Police Department are proud to produce the Respect the Bus "Kid Cop" public service announcement. The goals of the PSA are to let drivers know that school buses are now equipped with video cameras to catch drivers who illegally pass a stopped school bus and to increase awareness about laws prohibiting drivers from passing stopped school buses when the school stop sign arm is engaged. You can view the videos online. 
 
Mandatory COMAR Meeting for All DOT Staff: January 20, 2015 
All transportation employees are required to attend the winter COMAR meeting held at various locations on Tuesday, January 20, 2015. Attendance is mandatory unless on approved leave from your depot manager. Check with your depot secretary or newsletter for your assigned meeting location.
